Aliant Payments Celebrates 16 Years

Aliant Payments is thrilled to be celebrating 16 years of business in the payment processing industry this month!

Since our launch, Aliant has strived to be an innovative leader, known for providing cutting-edge technology and extraordinary customer service. We have grown into a company that serves over 7,500 merchants worldwide, processes over $1 billion in volume each year, and has partnered with over 100 agents, ISOs, and software developers across a variety of verticals. We’re proud to maintain a 5-star average from over 160 online reviews to date on websites including Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, Card Payment Options, and Facebook.

This past year has been a busy but exciting one, as we worked to develop our own domestic, fully compliant crypto processing solution. Launched in July 2018, our CryptoBucks platform made Aliant the first payment processor to offer traditional payment products (credit & debit cards) along with crypto. In January 2019, we were thrilled to take it a step further, and begin offering cryptocurrency processing free-of-charge to qualifying merchants that sign up for debit and credit card processing.

Another big milestone in the past year was becoming the first to complete the Litecoin Foundation’s registration process, making Aliant the first official Litecoin payment processor. In September 2018, CEO Eric Brown attended and spoke at the first-ever Litecoin Summit to spread the word about crypto payments. If you missed Eric’s talk, you can watch it here.

In addition to these milestones, Aliant also was mentioned in 75+ digital publications including Business InsiderForbesMobile Payments TodayDigital TransactionsPayments Journal, and South Florida Business Journal, to name a few.
